ATLAS GMV is a software product developed by GMV.
ATLAS GMV is a connector between BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Unix like email and collaboration platforms. The purpose of ATLAS GMV is to allow BlackBerry corporate users to access their emails, contacts and appointments stored in corporate platforms other than MS Exchange, IBM Lotus or Novell. ATLAS GMV supports BES 5 and BES Express, and connects to email platforms using standard SMTP and IMAP4 protocols.
With this product GMV will allow all Unix like email and collaborative platform users, make use of the Blackberry smartphones, giving you access to open source push emails and synchronization of PIM (Personal Information Management) objects such as contacts and appointments. Atlas GMV has been designed to allow you manage all Blackberry Enterprise Server capabilities as device management, application deployment and MDS integration.
